Dr Cerin Tarood is an experienced doctor who had recently been hired to be a military doctor for an elite platoon. His first assignment was a six month tour to help protect a mining outpost on planet Dzahn. The assignment seems pretty straightforward at first until the outpost encounters random attacks by horrifying beasts whose blood transforms anyone that it touches into horrifying creatures like themselves who now attack those who they once called friends. It is up to Dr Tamrood and Aredon, the platoon leader and mountain of a man to get to the bottom of what is going on before everyone at the outpost has become a monster!
